HR & Admin Manager

Location - Vijaywada (A.P)

Qualification: MBA (HR)

Experience: 8-10 years in manufacturing industry

Tasks / Accountabilities

Within the designated area of responsibility

HR:

- Training Need Identification

- Arranging internal and external training programmes to the employees.

- Effective use of counseling methods to reduce absenteeism and employee discipline

- Identifying Human Resource strategies to maintain progressive work culture

- Man power planning.

- Driving Induction Programmes to new employees

- Counseling the low productivity employees.

- Prepare and implement the Manual of working procedures and standing instructions of the organization.

- Driving full cycle of Performance Management System

- Maintenance of employees’ data bank.

- Conducting Exit Interviews and their analysis

- Driving and supporting cross functional teams such as Small Group Activities.

- Manage and administer plans/programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources to support organizational objectives.

WAGE & SALARY ADMINSTRATION:

- Monitoring - Time Office functions such as attendance recording, preparation of various manpower MIS reports, preparation of salary bills, recording the employees movement, maintenance of leave records of employees etc.,

- Filing ESI & PF Returns and other periodical returns.

- Maintenance of Contract employee’s records

- Full and Final settlement to the retired / resigned employees.

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS:

- Regular interaction with the employees through various forums to maintain industrial harmony

- Handling employees’ day to day grievances on time.

- Continuous interaction with contractors and employees to assess their pulse.

- Maintaining industrial harmony through various employee engagement activities.

- Preparing memos and Charge sheets to the employees involved in misconducts.

- Representing the management in Domestic Enquiries.

- Participating in collective bargaining like wage agreements, bonus agreements etc.,

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES AND WELFARE FACILITIES:

- Birth Day Celebration

- Encouraging employee participation through various committees like canteen committee, safety committee, sports committee and cultural committee etc.,

- Preparing and implementing employee engagement calendar

- Maintaining Transport Facilities to the Employees

- Event Management.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND STATUTORY COMPLIANCES

- Driving safety culture in the organization by various programmes.

- Organizing safety training programmes and ensure coverage of 100% employees

- Collecting accident data and analysis of the same to prevent the accidents.

- Ensure the availability of necessary PPEs to the employees based on the nature of the job

- Maintaining first aid boxes and ambulance room etc.,

- Conducting regular walk around safety audits.

- Handling accident case for the medical treatment on time.

- Complying company EHS manual/ standards

- Organizing Safety Day and Environment Day etc.,

- Organizing Annual Health Check Up to the employees.

- Maintaining statutory records and notices etc.,

- Timely submission of various statutory returns.

- Complying statutory check list and updating the status of the same to Corporate HR on monthly basis

- Handling periodical company EHS Audits.

- HR related documentation for the certification of ISO 140001 and OHSAS 18001.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION:

- Liaison with Govt. Authorities (Joint / Dy. / Asst. Commissioner of labour, Director/ Inspector of factories, ESI, PF Depts.)

- Contract labour management and their statutory compliance

- Maintaining of all personal and statutory records

- House Keeping, Security Management and attending to labour courts in connection with Industrial Disputes.

- Payment of Vehicle taxes and obtaining registration certificates.

- Timely payment of Insurance Premiums of company vehicles.

- Company Guest House maintenance.

- Administration of Canteen

- Maintaining public relations with surrounding Village Panchayats, MRO, RDO and local Police Satiation.

- Maintenance of Company telephones and intercoms.

- Driving company CSR activities.
