I am Srilakshmi Ramagopal and support leadership hiring for Global Analytics business at HP, Bangalore.

We have a requirement for a Manager Research and Intelligence for a Bangalore location and we are looking at candidates with a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Account Intelligence Manager to manage our strategic accounts insights development program delivering deep, timely and superior intelligence on HP’s key enterprise accounts. The selected candidate would work closely with marketing, sales, regional and product groups to plan create, and deploy customer insights assets for the Enterprise business. The candidate will be responsible for end to end ownership and delivery on business research related requests – understanding business problems, formulating research objectives, conceptualization of solutions/approach methodology, reviewing all the existing information to address the problem, synthesizing and driving insights to solve business problems.

Responsibilities

- Drive the development and execution of world-class Account Insights program, in collaboration with senior stakeholders at Enterprise businesses of HP.

- Manage Account Intelligence delivery from Bangalore for Enterprise group working closely with Marketing, Sales, Region and BUs across HP.

- Lead the development of the Strategic Accounts Insights roadmap that will deliver deep customer insights from various forms of customer data and secondary research.

- Manage a team of smart research analysts, hire top talent and continuously improve the performance and capabilities of the team.

- Establish delivery framework and delivery measurement KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders and Global Analytics Account Management teams.

- Lead thought leadership on all areas that relate to account insights. Examples: whitepapers on key trends in customer industries, presentation of new insights in knowledge sharing sessions, publishing of cutting-edge research in newsletters, HP internet site, conferences and other research tracking bodies. Examples of topics: Enterprise Mobility, Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Oil & Gas Segment, Cloud Market in APJ etc.

- Assist in deal-support, when requested by certain stakeholders for deep pre-sales package involving strategic SWOT analysis of the competitive landscape.

- Assist in cross team projects, wherever required for account intel support

- Ensure adequate availability of data sources and other resources for team in order to deliver in the most timely and efficient manner.

- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and leadership at HP, and continuously driver collaboration and innovation.

- Prepare and make executive level presentations on business impact and value delivered through account insights delivery to HP.

Skills & Experience required:

- Strong business research skills – ability to understand the business problem, solution a research plan, identify & synthesize data/information and drive relevant insights using HP’s internal data sources as well as publicly available information

- 10+ years experience in analytics and/or Research/Consulting/KPO organizations

- Education: Masters in any of the following: Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Science, Mathematics or MBA

- 6+ years experience managing analytics and/or Research professionals/teams

- Preferred: Knowledge of businesses related to Enterprise servers, storage, networking, enterprise software and Industry use cases of computing and printing. Exposure in global markets.

- Required: Strong curiosity to know the latest trends and news in the technology industry, and interest in the above mentioned-domains

- Experience with managing research/ consulting vendors will be an added advantage

- Experience managing and building high performance teams

- Experience working in a global environment managing multiple senior stakeholders

- Experience building executive level relationships

- Knowledge and experience using secondary research tools and data sources. Examples: Capital IQ, Hoovers, Factiva, D&B, OneSource, Gartner, IDC, Forrester etc.

- Strong working experience with business research Frameworks/Techniques, ppt making skills and application of excel techniques for data consolidation and analyses

- Knowledge and experience using standard IT productivity tools (MS-Office, Internet applications, and reporting tools)

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Building strong executive presentations and other communication mechanisms to disseminate actionable customer insights to the stakeholders across worldwide marketing teams, sales, regions and business units. Should have independently managed customers/worked with senior management. Ability to work independently and coordinate with work streams across multiple teams. Strong People Manager.
