Responsibilities :
Employment Branding :
- Drive all elements of employee recruiting, retention, recognition, rewards, communication and well-being. Approach recruiting through the lens of a - brand manager- and develop the messaging / venues / principles to execute on same.
- Create a workplace reputation and environment that is the envy of other companies for its ability to engage, energize and retain talented IP professionals.
- Design and execute on programs that deliver on the promise of a - best place to work-, including innovative compensation/reward plans for all levels within the company.
Leadership Development :
- Assess, design and deliver leadership development and training programs/assignments, with a goal to strengthen succession planning and foster a - promotion from within- culture.
- Lead all aspects of succession planning, including the performance review processes.
Design/execute on organizational principles :
- As part of the management team, work on strategic and business plans, with a particular focus on organizational design and efficacy.
- Understand and proactively address the needs of the broader organization, with a laser focus on the customer-facing aspects of the company. Serve as the - voice of the employee and the organization- .
HR protocols :
- Strong and demonstrated competency with legal and government entities/reporting requirements, payroll management, benefit administration, health and safety, employee handbooks, and employee life cycle (on boarding through relieving).
Desired Skills/ Experience/Qualifications :
- 2-4+ years of progressively responsible HR roles, ideally with a similar company (industry and size)
- Experience in operations or sales management is a plus
- Real and relevant experience in all core HR protocol areas
- Strong social media experience, particularly from a recruiting/branding perspective
- Strong networks throughout the HR community to identify talent/best practices; excellent reputation with peer groups
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
