- Chances are, you used to have a Hotmail account at some point, you watch YouTube videos every now and then, and store (or at least know someone who does) files on Dropbox. The common thread with these three companies is they became very big and very fast.

- Dropbox acquired most of their members by offering free space on referrals by existing members. Youtube dramatically increased distribution by allowing embedding of their videos on other sites. And Hotmal first set the trail blazing simply by embedding the hyperlinked text "get your free email account" in existing users' signatures.

- These three were start-ups who broke big. And the cause for their meteoric rise, as well as of other start-ups, has always been a person we now call a Growth Hacker.

- You can not only acknowledge the available resources & its limitations at hand, but you can actually - hack- it in ways to reach the goals you- ve set for yourself.
