Senior Manager/AVP - Financial Planning & Analysis

Objective :

- Responsible for Preparing financial Model for banking environment and monitoring the regulatory environment for compliance.

- Monitoring, analyses and reporting on different Government guidelines in India. Managing the Financial Literacy and Transparency Initiatives as the targeted positioning of the company.

Duties and responsibilities :

- Preparation of Strategy Financials for Consumer Banking Products.

- Part of the start-up team involved in setting up the Consumer Banking structure.

- Creation of General Ledger like Natural accounts, cost centers, Profit Centers etc. for Consumer Banking.

- Liaising with the Technology and Product Development Group for ensuring proper GL interface of various systems.

- Rolling out Branch wise/ account wise MIS for Consumer Banking Products on a daily basis.

- Liaising with Infra and Technology Team for arriving at the projections for IT and Fit out Costs as per proposed Branch layout plan.

- Comprehensive exposure in providing & analyzing financial information.

- Studying the financial variances and delivering proper explanations for the same to the senior management through various reports / trending patterns.

- Providing the business superior data, MIS, fact led analytical insights that help them in taking critical business decisions.

- Closely monitoring the Balance sheet movements and highlighting exceptions if any.

- Finance partner for all strategy, planning & MIS needs for identified business and/or support units that help them taking critical business decisions.

Requirements :

Education/Experience :

- Master Degree (preferably in Finance), CA.

- Minimum 7-10 years of experience at the same/similar position in India

- Insightful experience in program management activities including scoping, estimation, planning, risk management, finalization of specifications,

- Experience with governments, utilities, private equity investors, public sector corporations and private clients across BFS segment.

- Ability to think independently and out of the box, excellent abilities in interpersonal communications

- Ability to develop and maintain informal networking necessary for the excellent performance
