Home Credit - Expert - Portfolio Risk Management

Job Responsibilities:

Loss forecasting and simulations :

- Accurate quarterly forecasting of future risk based on current and past trends, considering macro-economic scenarios.

- Be actively involved in creation of risk assumptions for annual budget exercise

- Coordination with FP&A for budget and forecast activities to ensure adherence to real risk assumption.

- Work within team and across teams on forecast of risk based on various regular and ad hoc scenarios from time to time.

- Keep track of actual risk performance month over month, including calculation of receivables and provisioning coefficients.
 
Portfolio risk monitoring :

- Regularly monitor risk trends across various regular and ad hoc MISes.

- Proactively prepare analyses to identify portfolio risk problems in advance and propose timely solutions, create hypotheses and test them regularly.

- From time to time, create reports and analyses for portfolio risk monitoring as required.

- Bring about awareness of portfolio risk and future expectations within team and across the function.

Desired Skill:

- Understanding of credit risk and finance with respect to financial institutions

- Good understanding of statistical and financial modeling, risk analytics experience is a plus point.

- Advanced excel modeling skills for future forecasting

- Working understanding of company P&L and balance-sheet

- Analytical bent of mind, should be able to identify trends from data and MISes, expertise in hypothesis creation and testing

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, stakeholder management, attention to detail

- Proficiency in Powerpoint and excel modeling needed

- Good working knowledge of data using SQL, knowledge of PowerBI / Tableau is a plus point
