Travel in India is growing at a frenetic pace and consumer preferences are evolving continuously, from the proliferation of different access modes to content being consumed via social media. Within Travel also, we are seeing innovative business models emerging but we believe that the surface has barely been scratched yet!

We are looking for someone who can help us accelerate our growth even further. You will have the freedom of being part of a small entrepreneurial team which is working on Next gen disruptive products in Travel domain.

What do we expect from the candidate?

- Previous experience in Product Management (Consumer Internet and Mobile industry) . Experience in Travel (OTAs, Metasearch, Reviews), Information Services (Justdial, Sulekha) industry is a plus

- An MBA or an Engineer from Top Tier Institutes ONLY

- Relevant Work Experience: 3 to 5 years

- Very good academic record

Primary Job Responsibilities

The Product Manager in HolidayIQ India is the owner of the User experience for a specific set of domains on the HolidayIQ platform. The PM is responsible for Championing the launch of new features on the platform which enhance User experience & meet Business needs

- The Product Manager would work closely with the Business managers in India and the global Product management & Product development teams towards delivering world class solutions

- Definition of Product strategy for the owned domains

- Execute against HolidayIQ India and HolidayIQ south east Asia product roadmaps

- Author product requirements documents (PRDs)

- Contribute to company goals and strategy by translating business needs into product strategies and plans

- Conduct User research, and analyze the marketplace, customers and

- competitors to determine the right product for the India market

- Work with the HolidayIQ global product team to develop and launch global projects.

- Site production issues management and escalation

- Strong Business acumen, combined with Consumer understanding and appreciation of Technology

- Strong Process design orientation

- Efficient and effective problem solving and group project management skills

- Ability to understand, interpret data and make sound business decisions

- Ability to think holistically about the user experience and map technical solutions to business/financial needs

- Familiar with latest ecommerce/internet/mobile trends, technologies and best practice user experience

- Results oriented, takes the initiative and makes things happen

- Self-managed and quick thinking

- Solid MS Powerpoint and Excel skills

- Passion for the Internet/Mobile/Social & its potential / possibilities

- Ability to make decisions independently/propensity to make calculated risks

- A sense of humour. Ability to mix with people.

- Should be passionate about the Internet with an understanding of technology

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills able to communicate difficult concepts in simple terms

- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks to completion

- Ability to work cooperatively within a team, proactively manage own and team¹s schedule to get results
