Job Title Senior Manager - Robotics Process Automation Functional role : Head of the department (End to end service delivery of RPA projects ) Overall Job Purpose - Responsible for developing, planning, and managing implementation of robotic process automation (RPA) activities for complex projects that are part of a large program and/or programs with broad scope, high impact and longer implementation time frames. - Consult with sponsors, participants and stakeholders to review RPA opportunities including goals, time frames, and funding. Ensure that program goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Manage program budgets. Responsible for managing the program teams. Roles and responsibilities Key responsibilities: Description - Manage the day-to-day tactical functions associated with automation programs and this includes planning, coordinating, executing and monitoring RPA projects - Work closely with IT to ensure that applications support continuous improvements around quality, cycle time and operating efficiency - Maintain an assertive communication; keep day to day effective contact with Business Owners and senior leadership teams - Deliver and report on savings to sponsors and steering group members by executing and tracking benefits on automations - Work in partnership with business leaders to obtain and commit necessary associate resources at the appropriate time, level, and expertise to support the projects required to support the program - Provide regular status updates to leadership teams - Monitor and mitigate project/ program risks - Ensure completion of program deliverables. Ensure projects that are part of the program are delivered on time and on budget with superior quality. - Oversee teams of individuals from cross functional teams, as well as vendors to accomplish project/program outcomes. - Ensure compliance with corporate project management office, using appropriate project management tools, processes and procedures. - Manage the project budget, putting in place financial disciplines and ensuring their execution to meet or beat budget. - Manage vendor relationships and ensure their delivery is on time and on budget. - Participate in value-added planning, budgeting and forecasting activities. - Administers, orchestrates and controls the virtual workforce in the operational environment. Competence / Knowledge / Skills required Skills required - Bachelor or higher degree on Computer Science or related with overall 12+ years of experience and 5+ years' experience on automation, data analysis or programming. - Experience in programming (VB, C#, .NET, C++ etc.) is a must - Team player with experience in leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions. - Experience of delivering Robotic Process Automation (RPA) projects- Ideally in one or more of the major vendors (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UI Path). - An understanding of the broad scope of infrastructure required (Servers, DB's, applications, security, etc.) - The ability to plan, track, and complete work with small teams on short sprints and are familiar with creating zero-defect mind-set deployments - Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to handle multiple clients and multiple team members with confidence - Strong organizational, interpersonal, work management, communications and analytical skills - Strong Leadership skills Competencies - Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude - Show success in motivating others - Possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding, high growth environment, and be client-satisfaction oriented - Respond quickly to unexpected changes with creativity and optimism - Embrace one team approach - Must have flexibility to work extended hours on special assignments as required.
