HOD - Mechanical Maintenance - Thermal Power Plant

We are having very urgent opening for HOD- Mechanical Maintenance for one of the leading Thermal Power Plant Company in Tuticorin (Tamilnadu).

Position: HOD/ Head- Mechanical Maintenance

Job Location: Tutucorin (Tamilnadu)

Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical

Experience: Should have at least 12 years of experience in Coal based Thermal power plant in purely Mechanical Maintenance profile.

Salary: 15.00 - 20.00 L PA (Fixed) + Other Variables

Other Criteria:

- Should have experience in Purely Mechanical Maintenance profile.

- Should have at least 12-15 years of experience in Coal based Thermal Power plant.

- Currently should be in Head/ HOD/ AGM/ DGM/ Sr. Manager or Managerial rank in Mechanical Maintenance department.

- Should know Tamil properly.

- Should have exposure to CFBC Boiler Technology.

Purpose of Duty:

- To plan, organise, coordinate, supervise and control the Mechanical Maintenance activities at an O&M site. To manage the complete Power Plant Mechanical Maintenance function correctly and efficiently as per laid down procedures/ contract.

- These functions include close coordination with Head (Operation) / Head (Planning), Head (Electrical) and Head - Instrumentation.

- Preparation of maintenance schedules to upkeep of the boilers, turbines and the equipments and facilities available in the plant, Rectification planning for defects identified in Condition Monitoring, Contractors, external services, prepare/present MIS reports, within the guidelines of policies with the objective of ensuring smooth running of power plant and meeting Customer expectations.
