JOB TITLE EXT-Portfolio Specialist   Payroll - External - Contractual payroll  Reporting to: Director, Global Portfolio Strategy and Planning, HMD Global  Purpose of the Job  Portfolio Specialist supports e2e business planning for Portfolio function at HMD. This role involves detailed analysis of the global Featurephone and Smartphone market landscape, double clicking on region and country level data, and bubbling up key insights to drive portfolio strategy.   Responsibility  1) Global Market analysis: Historical and Forecasts   2) Competitive Insights: Past and future predictions by tier1 and regional brands  3) Segment analysis: Supporting specific product concepting   4) Feature trends: e.g. Imaging, Display, Chipsets etc.  5) Key interface towards IDC and regional portfolio teams to triangulate information and provide a consolidated view.  Know how required  Professional Skills  Location - Gurgaon  Years of experience 5-7 years   - University degree (in technology preferred)  - Excellent analytical skills and high level of comfort with excel  - Understanding of the Feature phone and Smartphone markets  - Excellent presentation, process and project management skills   - Open-minded, Dynamic and Business-oriented personality.  - Capability to drive ideas and action with sales impact through a big organization.   - Team player with a proactive attitude to - get things done-   Analytical and conceptual thinking, Information sharing, Networking, Influencing
