Job Level: Direct Reporting: Regional Business Controller

Job Description:
- Drive & Coordinate the Target setting & Planning activity for the Business function - on monthly, quarterly and half yearly basis, based on part trends, market size benchmarking and regional targets
- Short and long terms Planning and forecasting the regional level outlook based on competition insight, activation outlook and new launches, in partnership with the Zonal Leads
- Drive monthly Distributor level communications wrt monthly schemes, prices, scheme working, etc
- Lead and Drive distributor Quarterly reconciliations process for Active Distributors and ensure timely closure of Distributor's Full & Final Settlements in line with the company guidelines & compliance norms.
- Performing Financial Due Diligence for New Distributor Onboarding - for both Direct Distributors and Associate Distributors as per the onboarding guidelines
- Coordinate with External Due Diligence Agencies for performing New partner Due diligence for onboarding, review the reports and flash variance and risk to management as per the reports.
- Plan and Coordinate Distributor Audits on a quarterly basis, review the report and work with Business Managers and the Distributors to get the issues resolved per the defined action plan in a timely manner.
- Analyze Distributor ROI on a quarterly basis and propose to the management - the needed changes or modifications in incentive structure/plans
- Ad-hoc analysis of Schemes to understand the impactfullness and any compliance issues and share with Regional Business Controller and Zonal Heads from time to time.
- Understand the story behind the numbers and translate this into forward looking narratives and forecasts which incorporate recovery plans; exploiting opportunities; and which align with underlying Business and Market Insight.
- Focus on driving profitable growth by identifying growth levers, drive cost efficacy, improve contribution margin % from review of Channel and overall P&L

- Partner with Zonal and State Business Heads and Territory managers with effective communication and negotiation skills to ensure business target achievement in a compliant manner
- Challenges existing norms or courses of action, facilitating fully informed decision making.
- Effective Team player who can collaborate with extended finance & sales teams to effectively deliver the business needs
- Time Management and planning activities & tasks in a timely manner
Knowledge, Skills, Language and Abilities:
- 4-8 years' experience in Finance with strong demonstration of business partnering ( including sales planning ), management reporting and controls & compliance culture.
- Fluent in English and good presentation skills
- MBA / ICWA preferable
- Existing experience of Consumer or handset business is desirable
