Key responsibilities :
As part of this role, the ideal candidate will work on the following Key responsibilities :
Strategic :
- Develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans for Programmatic line of business identified in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
- Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
- Be able to integrate Data, Analytics, Creative, and Media seamlessly into a relevant client offering
- Grow the Trading desk offering of the company with high levels of Systematic Process & Automation on Planning, Buying, Managing, and Optimizing Media campaigns
- Grow the Programmatic Media Spends in Absolute terms as well as in Share of Overall media bought by the company
- Keep track of micro and macro industry trends that should be applied to business.
Business development :
- Prepare Marketing Collaterals, Case studies, Blogs towards dissemination of Programmatic capabilities
- Prepare Pre-sales Pitches & participate in Consultative Selling of the pitches to prospective clients
- Scout & Build a sales pipeline from Sectors already chasing programmatic as well as companies which are heavy on Offline, Outdoor, and Display advertising but haven't yet shifted to Programmatic
- Building brand awareness of Programmatic offering, and increasing brand value by unique communication lines
- Collaborate with publishers and other vendor partners. Evaluate emerging technologies that are beneficial to the team+client
- Collaborating with Account owners and Publishers to identify, evaluate and implement deals that provide our clients with high quality inventory opportunities
Execution :
- Be able to manage and allocate budgets. Be analytical and possess ability to leverage data and insights in the development of marketing plans execution
- Develop forecasts and strategies to optimize the competitive position and increase performance within Programmatic & Media-buying.
- Ensuring that stakeholders like clients and the account teams are kept updated on Performance KPIs via dedicated/ad-hoc reporting and status meetings
- Adapt to and Achieve various Client KPIs around Reach, Frequency, Viewability, Inventory Quality, CPM goals,Traffic, App Installs, & Transactions etc
Managerial :
- Build and train a team of enthusiastic & talented Marketing Analysts & Specialists to handle Programmatic clients
- Do the QA & testing of team's work
- Measure and report performance of all Programmatic & Media-buying campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Work closely with the Business Heads to provide the necessary Business & marketing support.
- Work closely with Finance team to secure the necessary approvals, process & budgetary support
Qualifications :
- First-hand experience in leading a Programmatic team for an Agency/ Programmatic Product-Service Company/Clientside
- First-hand experience in Pitching, Media-Planning, Publisher Partnerships & Negotiations, Setup, Execution & Optimization of large-scale Programmatic campaigns
- First-hand experience in Business development and direct contribution to Pre-sales & Consultative selling & Revenue Growth of Division
- Relevant Certification in DV360, Campaign Manager, Adserver tech, Measurement/Attribution, Analytics,Programmatic Buying & Planning
- Relevant experience in working with DV360, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, MediaMath, Sizmek - or other similar Adserver/Trading Desk platforms
- Bachelor- s/Masters in Marketing/Computer science/Engineering/Mathematics
- Knowledge of Coding skills, Excel, Data Analytics/Visualization tools like R, Tableau etc is a plus
- Key Understanding of the inventory, targeting, placement, creative, and data mix that works for clients
- Understanding of programmatic landscape including ad-verification, brand safety measures, DMPs, and 3rd party data providers
- Positive, can-do attitude; must be experienced at effective communication and fostering teamwork
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with numerous competing priorities
- Develop positive relationships focused on retaining clients and employees
- Ability to drive initiatives forward with limited supervision
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employees
- Conversant with all the terminology used in programmatic & performance marketing
- The Role will be located from our Bangalore Office ( currently only WFH) along with sales-related Travel when Travelling resumes on a regular basis.
