The Role :

- We are seeking an experienced Director, Network Infrastructure to lead architecture, engineering and operations functions that include on-premise data centre (primary and DR) and 100+ sites global network, along with proven track record in Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).


- We are looking for someone passionate about architecture, engineering, and operational aspects such as resolving incidents, automation, eliminating security risks and enabling our users and Hitachi Vantara to get their business done and help change the world.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and direct all IT Staff, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management

- Provide leadership and direction for the IT management of the Company, on all aspects of IT policies and controls, in the broader context of the Company's goals and priorities. Design, configure, and maintain all technology systems including on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.


- Lead the acquisition, maintenance, and management of all company hardware focussed more on network services. Maintain multi-site network infrastructure and connectivity that supports high availability of on-premise and cloud computing resources.


- Provide all Company employees with quality, consistent, and available computer services, technical support, and training. Directly manage all business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response plans and activities to proactively prevent delays, outages, and incidents.


- Continuously monitor and protect the Company's information assets to ensure best in class security and data integrity. Act as liaison between hardware and software suppliers and Management for informational updates and problem resolution

- Evaluate new equipment, software applications and processes, recommending changes as appropriate and supervise their implementation.


- Work collaboratively with Management staff to maximize the utilization of existing business applications to meet business requirements and to leverage IT assets.


- Develop and manage a systems capacity plan to ensure that all IT systems are sufficient to deliver the desired level of business performance.

- Develop and manage the operations portion of the IT budget.


- Contract management


- Execute and coordinate maintenance for network hardware, software applications and telecommunications services.


- Vendor management


- Govern performance of service providers, systems integrators, and OEM's.


Qualifications :

- Master's degree or MBA.

- CCIE/CCNP with 20 years of experience in building & operating enterprise networks Service mindset

- Experience working with Cisco IOS & NXOS, routing/switching and WiFi, Palo Alto

- Experience in deploying/sustaining SDWAN, application firewall, enterprise wireless & software defined network services. Experience in IPAM, F5 load balancers & GLB's

- Cloud knowledge, either AWS, Azure or GCP.

- Ability to create a shared vision for a team.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.

- Passion for solving nuanced and complex challenges, with curiosity to learn about technology and technology challenges. Effective team management and team-building skills. Ability to work well in ambiguity.

- Excellent attention to detail relationship-building, organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization, and communication skills.
