Director - Admissions and Operations
The position will report to the CEO of the Schools Division. This is a critical growth function for the organization and gives the individual a good insight into the operations of a school. The role works closely with the School Directors, Principals, and the Franchisee owners of the schools.
The candidate must be a detail/task/project-oriented person, with experience of running field sales teams.
The individual should have a flair for marketing, and event management. The individual should have strong communication and leadership skills and an ability to be both firm and flexible, which involves internal collaboration and franchisee interaction. The individual should be able to understand the aspirations of the parents and develop strategies to match the aspirations to that of the Hippocampus Schools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a leadership role. The tasks mentioned here need to be done by the team, and the candidate is expected to lead the team to succeed in these tasks.
1. Do a competition analysis for each school
2. Identify potential areas for student admissions
3. Plan and execute marketing events around the schools
4. Generate enquiries from prospective students
5. Follow up on the enquiries and convert them to admissions
6. Coordinate and work closely with the social media team
7. Drive collections
8. Ensure financial compliance on collections
9. Recruit teachers from the community for the school
10. Manage and strike partnerships with transportation providers
11. Conduct safety audits
12. Conduct school audits to ensure all promises made are being kept
The role requires extensive travelling, and the candidate needs to be on the road for 8-10 days a month.
