Sr Manager / AGM Taxation - 6-8 years of experience on Direct and Indirect tax (Income Tax, GST, Service Tax) matters with good knowledge on applicability of various taxes. - Partnering with business closely and regularly to ensure that taxation practices are best in class and management is availing of all opportunities in the market - Update &amp; keep updated the Senior Management on the latest Direct &amp; Indirect taxation rules and its impact on the functional operations and provide critical inputs to them for decision making - Manage all statutory/ tax audits and audits undertaken by Tax departments. - Responses to tax authorities within the agreed time frame for all notices / queries issued. - Manage all periodic TDS and GST compliances - Managing timely tax compliance, handling auditors, appeals and scrutiny - Directing the finance team on the computation of tax related entries for the purposes of reporting accurate financial statements - Representing the organization in income tax litigation. - Will be managing a team Desired Profile : - CA with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience (post qualification) - Experience of working in BIG 4 / big conglomerate having multiple companies - Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work - Proactive, identify issues and take early responsibility - Able to extract, analyse, and review data and make appropriate recommendations - Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - Strong analytical and problem solving skills and meticulous
