Job Function: Data & Analytics
Responsibilities:
- Involvement in identifying complex business problems, break it down in smaller parts and implement creative, data-driven solutions.
- Responsible for defining, analyzing and communicating key metrics and business trends to the management, product, sales and marketing teams.
- Model data in order to create reporting infrastructure/dashboards for business process management and data mining.
- Execute quantitative analysis that translates data into actionable insights.
- Translate abstract data into highly visual and easily understood formats
- Drive data driven decision making through the stake holders.
- To work closely with product managers to understand and implement data collection processes.
- Design test experiments that focus on enhancing user experience; review, analyze, and share results to ensure optimization.
Required Skills:-
- B.Tech from a reputed institute is preferable
- 3-8 years of relevant experience
- Technical capabilities: SQL, Excel and Scripting Language (PHP/Python/Perl etc.).
- Hands on: BI tools (Tableau/Qlikview), Statistical tools (R/SAS etc)
- Experience on Web analytics tool (Google Analytics, Omniture etc) would be good to have
- Demonstrated ability to analyze user behavior data.
- Experience in analyzing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets.
- Penchant for business, curiosity about numbers and persistence to work with data to tease out insights.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work on a diverse range of requirements.
- Experience working with sales, business consulting, or marketing teams
- Exposure to media industry and digital products is a plus.
