National Manager - Real Estate &amp; Facilities Management - Indirect Category DEPARTMENT : Strategic Procurement LOCATION : Bangalore JOB OBJECTIVES : Strategize &amp; lead procurement of Real Estate &amp; Facilities Management category for HCCB. Drive sourcing strategy, supplier relationships, innovation &amp; value for this category &amp; for HCCB. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Direction Setting : - Leads &amp; drives translation of procurement objectives into actions and executable plans - Understands the overall business direction &amp; objectives and develops &amp; aligns plans for the category to enable their achievement. Business Planning : - Develops short &amp; long term plans that are comprehensive, realistic &amp; effective in order to support all Procurement activities. - Constructs &amp; uses budgets to manage &amp; monitor spends for the category and ensures that adjustment processes are in place for over/under achievement. Procurement Practices : - Applies defined processes and practices to for the category in order to successfully achieve business objectives. - Align Procurement strategies to the overall Company objective, GP&amp;T &amp; CEPG strategies. - Ensures thorough analysis of supply markets relative to category of expenditure in order to logically substantiate the evaluation of all strategies. - Manage relationships and ways of working with key suppliers in order to align understanding &amp; commitment with customer expectations. - Applies the right supplier relationship spectrum viz., Leverage, Preferred, Partnership or Strategic Alliance in order to satisfy business needs. - Negotiates at tactical &amp; strategic level to develop complex business unit and major company purchasing contracts appropriate to category of expenditure. Systems &amp; Processes : - Identifies implements &amp; continuously improves systems &amp; processes in line with the changing environment - COLA. - Demonstrates &amp; performs in accordance with sound business ethics, purchasing &amp; supply standards, policies &amp; procedures to give Cx India the highest possible perceived integrity in all supplier relationships. Position Reports to : Administrative Reporting : AVP - Indirect Procurement Functional Reporting : AVP - Indirect Procurement Key Customers : Internal Customers : Human Resources Team, Facilities Management team, Finance Teams, Business Leadership External Customers : Lead/interface with Sourcing Group teams at local, regional, global levels. JOB REQUIREMENT : Minimum Education : Post Graduate qualification in General Management from a reputed institute / university preferred Minimum Work Experience : Minimum 5-7 years of relevant post qualification experience with at least 2-3 years at a middle/senior management level in the Procurement function in a similar industry, where he/she should have demonstrated strong commercial acumen. Business Knowledge : Leads strategy for the category. - Analyze expenditure to establish potential future price change impact on purchasing portfolio and the total forecast impact of purchasing activity on future business profitability. - Tactical &amp; strategic negotiation for category of expenditure. - Successfully manage suppliers on a long- term basis. - Initiate &amp; manage major cost improvement programmes for strategic categories expenditure, resulting in significant savings or cost control. - Undertake complex contractual &amp; business negotiations at executive level with major suppliers.
