The main objective of the job is to design, execute the strategy and processes for learning and development. Provide leadership for interventions which build organizational capability and create a learning organization.
- Take the learning and development processes to the World Class level in terms of Design and Effectiveness
- Work with HRBPS to identify the learning programs run by the units and ensure that all learning initiatives are aligned to the L&D strategy and business plan.
- To be the custodian of all HCCB L&D programs and ensure a common theme within all units.
- Take stake holder feedback of L&D processes to drive process improvements and enable next practice benchmarking of processes
- Drive a coaching culture within the organization using tools and vehicles for developing internal coaching talent
- Drive the strategy for L& D programs in terms of design, content, timeliness and quality of delivery and take initiative for process improvement
- To ensure the effective delivery and implementation of training programs and analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and satisfaction of training programs conducted
- To be the custodian of all learning and development initiatives (functional & behavioral) across units and corporate
- To identify national training partners and training panels
- Active partnership with HRBPs to help solve issues / problems pertaining to specific L&D processes and working to improve effectiveness of the L&D processes.
- Work with the HRBPs to build functional Capability in the individual verticals and develop a pool of internal trainers
- Work with HRBPs in identifying training needs across functions and inter function dependencies and those that arise for individuals through career management tools.
- Design and implement specific executive development and leadership development programs
- Ensuring the implementation of development programs and capability building programs
- To contribute to capability building through conducting training / coaching sessions wherever feasible
- To identify and develop Instructional Design tools and certifications.
- Roll out of training programs on a large scale within the organization
- Work with external agencies for automation of training and development modules
- To manage other modes of training such as video conferencing, web based, distance learning
