Position Overview:

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collecting, processing, and analyzing data to provide valuable insights and support informed decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Cleaning:

- Acquire, extract, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

- Identify and rectify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies.

Data Analysis:

- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.

- Utilize statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present insights effectively.

Report Generation:

- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate key findings and trends to relevant stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain automated reporting processes to streamline data delivery.

Data Modeling:

- Design and implement data models to support business requirements and analysis goals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize data models for specific projects.

Data Interpretation and Presentation:

- Translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

- Present data-driven recommendations to support business decision-making processes.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

- Collaborate with data engineers, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure data accessibility and integrity.

Continuous Improvement:

- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis.

- Propose and implement improvements to existing analytical processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets.

- Effective communication skills for presenting complex information to a non-technical audience.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
