Role Title : Senior Manager - BI Reporting Lead

Location : Bangalore, India.

- Should be willing to travel domestic and international

Role Dimensions :

- The role is an integral part of the organization's overall digitization strategy towards building an agile and mobile enterprise portfolio of IT services and products for internal and external customers. It entails understanding the current enterprise data and customer engagements to implement an enterprise BI environment for internal operational hygiene as well as establishing a robust framework for analytics.

- The role reports to the General Manager - BI Reporting and Analytics, Office of the CIO and will involve managing BI implementations and roll-outs across the company.

- Should be able to provide inputs and direction contributing to the overall BI strategy for the enterprise and executing the same to yield business benefits in terms of operational efficiency, optimization and intellectual property generation.

- Manage a team of experienced and junior BA and BI resources.

- Support in business development (preparing sales collaterals, pitch documents etc.) and organization building (training, recruitment etc.)

- Over a period of time, the role may evolve into conceptualizing, building use cases and drive implementations of newer technology areas like Big Data.

Desired Knowledge, skills and attitudes :

The ideal candidate should have :

- The ability to think strategically and analytically in providing BI solutions

- Experience in grooming and leading teams in the areas of business intelligence and analytics

- Worked with BI tools like Qlikview, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects, Jasper etc

- Possesses strong analytical / logical thinking skills

- Should have played project and team management roles

- In depth understanding and experience in BI methodologies and data mining

- Experience in managing a global development team and global clientele / stakeholders.

- Excellent team skills and ability to collaborate in a matrix organizational structure

- Ability to work with cross cultural and multi geography teams

Education Qualification and Professional experience :

- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering / computer science / Business Analytics / Business Management

- 10 to 12 years of experience in the BI Reporting and Analytics area
