General Manager/AVP - OD & PM  Job Objective :   The incumbent will work closely with the India Leadership team to,  - Strategize, create, and successfully implement the talent development for HGS India ensuring positive impact to the business  - Lead, direct and develop the OD team to support the organizations talent development initiatives  - Personally deliver behavioral programs for Senior Managers to Vice Presidents   Key Responsibilities :  - Partner with Business, Operations Leaders and Clients pan India to develop business impacting solutions enabling the organization to meet its aggressive business plans  - Ability to lead the need identification through learning solution design and development process and learning management solution (LMS) tool  - Individually as well as through a team of OD representatives pan India, design, develop and sustain learning and development policy, processes and tools aiming at fostering organisational and individual development   - Drive enterprise wide training programs, induction, leadership development, talent retention, and performance management  - Lead the team of OD representatives pan India motivating them to be the change agent for their respective business and location  - Develop the infrastructure for all training and development programs by establishing standardized methods and procedures for delivery, evaluation, measurement and reporting  - Provide oversight on mandated compliance training programs to ensure that the programs are developed in coordination with established standards and are properly tracked within employee profiles  - Organization Development interventions like Employee Satisfaction Survey, CSAT, Business Excellence, Skip and Pulse meetings across teams  - Select and manage internal and external trainers and vendors to deliver consistent, cost-effective training programs  - Reviews course for completeness, consistency with learning goals, and compliance with standards  - Design, develop, customize, deliver reinforce and measure the effectiveness of various training programs  - Review key deliverables, periodically and ensure that they are within organization specified targets. Suggest process improvements as required  - Ensures periodic and accurate MIS inputs to organizational stake holders  Educational qualifications and Experience :  - MBA with overall 12- 20 (12-15 for GM & 16 - 20 years) years of experience in Learning and Development background and relevant experience of at least 8- 10 years in the leadership position  - Preferred: MBA or Masters in Human Resources, Learning / Organizational Development or similar degree  - Preferably experience in the ITES/BPO industry  - 5 plus years of designing and deploying blended (class room, e learning & outbound) learning solutions for a large firm  - Must display superior leadership, verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills  - Able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously  - Ability to collaborate with all levels of management  - Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization  - Working knowledge of current and emerging training tools and learning aids  - Ability to plan and organize accordingly in a fast-paced environment while still ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner  - Flexibility with a willingness to handle a variety of projects at the same time  - Demonstrated creativity and analytical ability  - Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with a diverse group  - Self-directed and strong ability to prioritize effectively  - Highly disciplined and organized with a strong attention to detail  - Proactive, task-oriented and detail-oriented person  - Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and developing a team of bright and ambitious individuals based in remote locations  Behavioural skills:  - Business and Results Orientation  - Customer Focus  - Planning, Organizing and Execution  - Analytical Ability, Problem Solving and Decision Making  - Team Working and Collaboration  - Interpersonal Relations, Communication and People Skills  Special Conditions:  - Willing to travel to remote locations in Tier2 and Tier 3 cities.
