Purpose of position (Overall contribution to corporate goals) : This is the analytical and reporting expert role in the Finance function to provide efficient and timely reporting. The responsibilities include analyzing financial information, providing financial reports and subsequently providing advice to management on future financial plans in order to enable them to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives. The incumbent will own operational/tactical responsibility for driving topline growth as well as managing pricing, margins, and operating cost. Core Accountabilities : Financial Controlling : 1. Delivering financial planning and analysis, controlling and reporting 2. Developing financial insights to improve results and support the management team in a variety of strategic and operational decision-making including providing timely monthly financial statements and reports, preparing the company's financial forecast and budget, analyzing variances and providing corrective action plans 3. Monitoring of risks and driving sustainable value creation 4. Participating in annual PnL game planning, target setting, investment planning, and profitability reviews Organization Performance : 5. Monitors organization performance through a series of KPIs 6. Remedial measures for lagging areas 7. Steering of Sales team through financial levers Applicant Profile : 8. Education : MBA/CA with 2 - 3 years- experience in financial reporting and/or analysis as well as financial modeling 9. Strong data analysis skills with the ability to view it from multiple angles and make projections and develop multiple alternate scenarios 10. Hands on experience in budgeting & general accounting 11. Make recommendations on streamlining business processes for value-add 12. Quantitative, structured approach to projects and analysis preferred 13. Preferred knowledge in SAP (FICO) / BI 14. Strong interpersonal & communication skills 15. Ability to influence stakeholders with data and projections is critical
