High Frequency Quantitative Analyst

An affiliate of the high-frequency proprietary trading firm seeks a highly-skilled Quantitative Analyst. A leader in the thriving field of quantitative trading. Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing high-frequency trading signals

- Working with senior traders to analyze the signals and impact on trading behavior

- Exploring trading ideas by analyzing market data and microstructure for patterns

- Developing tools to research and analyze market data and patterns

- Contributing to Tower's in-house computational libraries for efficient processing of data to generate signals

Qualifications

- A Bachelor- s, Master- s, and/or PhD degree from a top-tier university

- 1-3 years of data analysis experience in quantitative finance or at a top-tier technology firm

- Strong background in mathematics/statistics; past participation in the International Mathematical Olympiad is a plus

- Solid data-mining and analytical skills, including experience dealing with a large amount of data

- Programming skills in one or more of the following: C++, Python, R, and/or MATLAB
