We are a sports NGO doing phenomenal work in training basketball to underprivileged children in Mumbai and vicinity. We are now expanding to other states in India and there is constant growth in the organization. We are looking to hire a person in Finance who is hard-working and passionate about working in a non-profit set up. Finance executive will be directly reporting to the founders.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Financial Reporting - Cost analysis and control, Working Capital and Cash Flow, Monthly Financial Statements, Account Payables.

- Regulatory Compliances - Facilitation of audits with internal and external auditors, Periodic Reporting for Donors & internal purposes.

- Taxation - Assistance with Tax Computation, Return Filing, Income Tax and TDS.

- Strategy - Assistance in establishing financial strategies and goals for the organization

- Budgeting - Seasonal and Annual Budgeting and Projections

- Payroll - Payroll computation and processing, Payroll database management, Grievance handling, Benefits / Statutory Dues computation (PF, Income Tax, Profession Tax, ESIC, Gratuity, Medical benefits, Insurance etc.)

- Vendor Management - Account Payables, Bank Payment Processing, Vendor database, payment cycles.

- MIS - Centre wise analysis, event based cost reporting, Budget v/s Actual, Attendance and Payroll Reporting.

- Accounting - Oversee accounting through Tally, Invoicing and Bill Booking, Provisioning, Reconciliation of Ledgers, Assistance in finalisation of accounts, Bank reconciliations.

Qualifications and Skills

- B.com / M.com / MBA (Finance) having experience in Finance and Accounting

- 3-6 year relevant experience in a Finance role

- Detail oriented

- Strong analytical skills

- Experience using financial software

- Advance MS Excel Skills

- Monday to Saturday working

Salary is competitive based on experience and qualification.
