Job Purpose / Role :
Working along side with Head-Diversity & Inclusion, leadership and HR Business Partners of various functions, drive the agenda for Diversity and Inclusion within Hero MotoCorp. Have accountability towards enhancing Diversity metrics, and enhancing our current status on Diversity agenda internally and externally to help in becoming a Global Employer of Choice.
Key Responsibilities :
- Actively participate in creating a diversity agenda for the company in line with Hero Core Values and organization culture.
- Initiate work upon Statement on Inclusion and Diversity, Initiative strategy.
- Define the entire program
- To seek out and create various forums, enhance our participation in external
- To prepare and create a communication campaign on themes - what does it
- Explore employing women on shop floor forums to increase awareness means to us in new plants specifically
- Can look at lines/roles on shop floor / offices
To work towards identifying and ensuring diversity metrics actionable:
- Identify causes, address issues
- Look at providing, creating counseling initiatives
- Hiring managers
- Women employees
- Coaching women leaders
- Training / Higher Education program for women
To participate in identifying and setting up counselling helpline on:
- Legal issues - India, Colombia, Bangladesh
- Women safety - HO & Plants
Essential Education Background :
- Post Graduate in Psychology, Humanities, Human Resources
Desired Education Background :
- Certification on global diversity management
Desired Technical / Functional Competencies :
- Awareness / experience of relevant law, legal frameworks
- Awareness of HR issues, and ability to address them with speed
- Program Delivery, Program Management
Desired Behavioral Competencies :
