Hero FinCorp - Lead - Investments

The role is to create, negotiate and execute investment strategies for Hero FinCorp and it's subsidiary Hero Housing Finance Ltd.

Primary Investment Objective :

- Liquidity at all points of time

- Minimal risk of capital loss at all points of time

- Comfortably maintain the LCR and follow all its guidelines

- Maintaining and monitoring the risk metrics of investments and ensure there is no breach of the same

Secondary Investment Objective :

- Minimizing negative carry (since Cost of borrowing would invariably be at a higher rate)

- Investment profits by opportunistic play on duration

Some Investment Instruments expected to be used most often :

- Debt mutual funds up to 1 year of duration

- T-bills / G-Sec

- High quality CDs / CPs

- Fixed Deposits

Economic Research :

- Track various economic and regulatory changes to present a detailed analysis

- Continuous research on economy, debt markets, Insurance companies and Corporates to enable the Treasury make a more informed decisions

All responsibilities should be performed as per the Company Values and guidelines mentioned in the Company policies, as applicable and within the parameters of Company Code of Conduct

Experience : 8-12 years

Education :

- CA /CFA / MBA is desirable. Not a constraint for candidates with quality experience and who are comfortable with financial mathematics

Skills & Competencies :

- Hands-on experience on various investment products on the debt side

- Ideal candidate should be from a bank, mutual fund, insurance or a investment management company or a corporate (those with active investment management)

- Understanding of the macro-economic environment and the impact of events on the market

- Sound understanding of financial mathematics
