Position Summary: The Head of Private Equity will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the private equity division, including sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities, as well as managing and optimizing portfolio companies. This role requires a deep understanding of the private equity landscape, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful investments and exits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investment Strategy:

o Develop and implement a comprehensive private equity investment strategy aligned with the firm's overall objectives.

o Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across various sectors and geographies.

o Conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis to assess the viability of potential investments.

2. Deal Sourcing and Execution:

o Build and maintain a robust pipeline of investment opportunities.

o Lead negotiations and structuring of investment deals.

o Manage the execution of transactions, including coordination with legal, financial, and operational teams.

3. Portfolio Management:

o Oversee the management and performance of portfolio companies.

o Work closely with portfolio company management teams to drive growth, operational improvements, and value creation.

o Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of portfolio companies, implementing corrective actions as needed.

4. Exit Strategy:

o Develop and execute exit strategies to maximize returns for investors.

o Lead the process of preparing portfolio companies for sale, including enhancing financial performance and strategic positioning.

5. Team Leadership:

o Build and lead a high-performing private equity team.

o Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

o Ensure effective collaboration and communication within the team and with other divisions.

6. Stakeholder Management:

o Maintain strong relationships with investors, advisors, and industry professionals.

o Communicate investment performance and strategy to investors and stakeholders.

o Represent the firm at industry conferences, events, and in media engagements.

7. Compliance and Risk Management:

o Ensure all investments comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.

o Identify and mitigate risks associated with investments and portfolio management.

o Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and corporate governance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field.

- Strong track record of successful investments and exits.

- Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Extensive network within the private equity and investment community.

Experience:

- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within [TMT, Banking, Insurance sectors] in Big Three (management consultancies)

- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing investment teams.

- Proven ability to source, evaluate, and execute complex investment transactions.

- Experience in managing and optimizing portfolio companies for growth and profitability.
