This position will lead and direct one of the most important facet of supply chain management including inventory management, production planning, material planning. Special focus on Working Capital (WC) reduction and close monitoring of the Inventory handling & process to minimise stock out situations or overstocking. Responsibilities - Devise ways to optimise inventory & inventory control procedures - Analyse & translate Sales forecast provided by business channels into MRP (material resource planning), production & distribution - Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels at all locations & minimise the out of stock - Monitor inventory levels on daily basis to ensure stock availability across the channels - Use software (ERP) to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory - Optimise production & distribution planning to replenish stocks avoiding inefficiencies or excessive surplus - Analyse data to anticipate future needs in terms of warehouse capacity & production capacity - Collaborate with various departments including brand, sales, warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met - Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, risks etc. Requirements - Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position - Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods - Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP) - Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports - An analytical mind with strong mathematical skills - Excellent organisational and planning skills - Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities - Reliable and trustworthy - Graduation from TIER-I, post-graduation will be a plus
