Support implementation of New Health Plans built for India.
This includes Financial analysis, Actuarial process implementation from Data requirements, risk Modelling, health management analysis and testing, deploying models to the production environment.
- Produce documents (technical or analytics) that the team produces to ensure they adhere to the guidance provided by the Client process owner.
- Support teams for business initiatives and projects as per the existing or prospective operational preference and priority
- Process Support, talking to our partners and leading the implementation process with strategic alignment on the business needs and operations
- Perform tasks/projects/analysis assigned prioritization to execute any process improvements
- Understand end-to-end working of the actuarial process, design the plans and their ins and outs. Identify potential areas of external support in the process
- Perform process tasks and activities as needed to maintain knowledge, serve as back up and balance workload
- Create knowledge repository building through process documentation
Program/process Governance:
- Ensure all process and project-related deliverables include defined controls and supporting evidence meet agreed-upon requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in financial or actuarial science, mathematics, statistics and/or related major
- University degree in Science (Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Engineering.) with solid numerical, mathematical, statistical or similar background
- Minimum of 3-6 years working experience in Insurance or Reinsurance - preferably with experience in costing/pricing systems
- Partially Qualified Actuary (5+ Actuarial exams cleared) with relevant experience in life/annuity insurance or financial services industry Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to manage through influence and build long term trust
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Actuarial Degree equivalent with relevant experience in Healthcare & Life insurance industry
- Strong actuarial work experience and understanding of India Health Insurance products & Knowledge of IRDAI regulations and Tax reporting concepts
- Specific knowledge of tools - Any actuarial modeling tool (preferably PolySystems, AXIS or MGAlfa), Excel, VBA, SQL, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of actuarial modeling, preferably for India Insurance or US products
