- Build & manage relations with key industry media, print, digital as well as electronic.
- Manage response to media inquiries and proactive news pitching to national and regional media.
- Conceptualize and develop written materials for internal and external audiences
- Manage press events, creating messaging, brief, press releases, fact sheets, Q&A, reactive statements.
- Responsible for media monitoring and reports including social and online channels and follow up results by measuring media impact all PR activities.
- Manage agency relationships.
- Plan for offline communication strategy
The ideal candidate will also be characterized by the following attributes -
- 4+ years of experience in PR and corporate communication roles either in a PR agency or internet and technology companies.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Understanding of digital and social media tools.
- Action-oriented with a strong focus on results.
- Excellent networking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A graduate or post graduate degree in Communications or Journalism preferred
