Head - Wholesale Banking Compliance

- Ensuring Compliance with Regulatory guidelines on Credit (Wholesale, Retail, Credit Card) in Policies and Procedures of the Bank, including implementation of RBI guidelines and reviewing Product notes.

- Responding regulatory queries from Business and Risk teams on Credit, preparation of Board and Audit Committee notes and Providing training on Credit (online as well as classroom) to Middle and Senior Management.

Regulatory Compliance of Payments Bank

Ensured Compliance with Licensing and Operating guidelines on Payments Bank all the time including licensing conditions.

- Handled Business queries on Wallet Business, Retail Liabilities, KYC and other aspect of Payments Bank, Compliance Testing, Onsite / Offsite RBI Inspection, Compliance Risk Assessment of various departments, representing Compliance in Product Approval Committee (PAC) meetings etc.

Design a sound compliance risk framework.

- Conducting testing across key compliance risk areas.

- Demonstrate good understanding of the design of compliance controls and undertake complex walkthrough and execute necessary testing.

- Ensure appropriate monitoring and testing being done by the team members by handholding as and when required.

- Understand and educate business on the fundamentals of compliance risk and controls and partner with Compliance advisory for delivering the same.

- Executing and ensuring execution of applying different review techniques to maximize assurance provided.

- Recommending control improvements to mitigate risks.

- Take lead in discussion with business to clearly articulate issues identified.

- Reviewing of testing results and drafting report for review of Top Management and Board.

- Keep abreast with internal process and controls, regulatory requirements.

- Undertaking Compliance Risk assessment at bank level to identify the compliance risk heat map of the Bank.
