Position: Head-Web / eCommerce (Essential- Oracle web center)

Position Summary:

- To be responsible for design, delivery and maintenance of Web frontends. Manage dependencies between system tracks, e.g. design, integration, testing and handover to operations.

- Business IT Lead for Web Portal, Web Selfcare and eCommerce Platforms; i.e. act as SPOC to business organizations. Combining both End Customer (UI/UX) views and technology aspects.

- To define, plan and deliver the end to end technical implementation and user experience in coordination with dependent systems (backend) and in close cooperation with external develpment partners and agencies.

- Responsible for mentoring/managing teams to deliver UI/UX, state-of-the-art web development and implementation using various portal technologies. Ensure adequate testing (Unit, system, integration, user acceptence). Apply ""agile development" approaches.

- To recruit and mentor team for L3 support

- To be responsible for the SDLC management using standard tools like Rational, HP

Mandatory Criteria:

- Portal Development and eCommerce System Delivery for a large organisation

- Managed a large team of technical resources

- Oracle web center expertise is essential

- eCommerce organisation experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

- Excellent understanding of Web Technologies such as JSP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Portalets, WSDL

- Any Portal Technology, WebSphere Commerce 7 knowledge

- Should have worked on Development tools such as Eclipse

- Project Planning, Scheduling

- PM tools likes Microsoft project, Sharepoint, PM Processes

Minimum qualifications:

Education: BE/B.Tech/MS/MTech/MCA Computer Science or equivalent
