We are looking for the following :
Head - Water community Services
Job Role :
It's a leading Water community Services (NGO) having spread across Pan India. It focuses on 3 broad categories, DRINKING WATER, CHILD RIGHTS & SANITATION,
- We are looking with strong experience working on the ground with communities, understands community / panchayat level politics.
- Ability to Build relations with the local stakeholders. (Specially from the north
- Worked in the north for long) Confident, assertive,
- Someone who has really strong experience of working with communities in the rural space, more specifically from the north. (Haryana / Jaipur/ Punjab),
- Someone who has spent a lot of time in the south will be culturally handicap to operate in the north. Strong Sales and Negotiation skills,
- Ability to grow the business Should be able to manage the team from North zone (Haryana/Jaipur/Punjab),
- Communicates well in Hindi,
- You will be responsible for Business Development / P&L.

Major Deliverables :
Strategy :
- Create a strategy for driving the DFP Business Nationally towards sustainability in line with organizational goals and values.
Operations :
- Create an operational roadmap for the achievement of the strategy considering available revenue and cost levers. Work on prioritizing tasks and allocation of appropriate resources.
- Implement processes and metrics to meet monitor targets and ensure adherence to reporting requirements.BD and Partnerships : Will participate and work closely with the BD team and the Partnerships team in :
- Developing the BD strategy
- Developing the Partnership strategy
- Goal setting and defining regional targets
- Donor engagement
- Budget planning
- Stakeholder management
Team Management :
- Set direction, align and motivate team members to achieve set goals and objectives.
- Monitor team performance (set objectives, review performance and plan compensation)
- Develop the team (development/training plans, Organizational Talent Review, coaching or mentoring, as appropriate).
Financial Management :
- Own and manage the P&L,
- Create rolling forecasts and budgets.
- Analyze actual performance against the targets set and create correction plans accordingly.
Stakeholders Management :
- Identify, engage and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Develop a network of partners and supporters for the organization
Support :
- Work closely with other function heads in order to create robust state operations.
Supervises : Zonal Heads/Managers, Cluster Managers, AM OMQ & AM Finance
Reports to : CEO.
- You should have hands of experience in area of Project Management, Rural Development and Sales. Attributes (experience/ exposure characteristics):
- Should have experience in managing P&L for his area of operation.
- Should have the ability to understand and work effectively with the local government bodies and communities.
- Should have played a leadership role in his/ her previous job.
- Should be willing to travel extensively in across the country as needed.
- Should have an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.
