Head - Vendor Finance - B2B Fashion eCommerce Startup

Job Responsibility:

He will be studying all the Fintech platforms and start ups that have come to disrupt the B2B lending in India and abroad and map their offerings to the requirements of client business model and build working and profitable relationship with them to lend Pre shipment and post shipment credit to all the vendor eco system that have come on board with the client.

He shall discuss with all Private banks, Nationalized banks and NBFCs and establish unsecured and collateral free working capital funding options for vendor community in the platform.

He shall reach out to all our vendor network across India and abroad, assess their working capital requirements and the eligibility and provide the right working capital solution to them by offering collateral free Pre shipment and post shipment credit including unsecured working capital loans.

He will be given targets to achieve under the mentorship of CEO.

Location: Bangalore. He can also be given Work from Home option till the lending business vertical gets a critical mass.

Experience: He should have worked with similar responsibilities in start ups or financial institutions and should be extensively thorough with the process, procedures, compliances and its nuances.

Our client is, a B2B fashion start up, is promoted by entrepreneurs of 30-year-old Rs. 500 Crores textile groups from Tamil Nadu having bases at Karur and Tirupur with interest in Home Textiles and Knitwear industry.

Our client was promoted 6 years ago with a vision to build a global sourcing service company for Indian and Global fashion brands and retailers to be powered by digital Technology. Kay Ventures is also building a technology plaform to support its sourcing services.

Our client is currently doing sourcing service for Knitwear products for 10 Indian fashion online brands and retailers and is close to start working with 5 more Indian apparel retailers. Our client has just started sourcing woven garments also for the Indian fashion brands and retailers. It plans to onboard 200 MSME Vendors and provide working capital solutions too through aggregated set of lender network and FinTech Platforms.

Our client has a vision to organize funding for the entire working capital needs of the vendor community on board through partner vendor network.
