Qualification: Bachelor's / Master's degree in mechanical engineering Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience within the Maintenance function. Job Purpose: Responsible for the timely servicing, repairs &amp; maintenance of all machines at the power plant to ensure zero break-downs and smooth functioning of all machinery &amp; equipment. Role &amp; responsibilities: Utilities &amp; Services - Responsible for developing equipment preventive maintenance plan &amp; schedules for execution - Supervising utility equipment operations - Developing &amp; implementing breakdown maintenance plans - Identifying areas of improvement and recommending process modifications to enhance operational efficiency of plant machineries - Using various root cause analysis techniques to increase the reliability and availability of equipments - Preparation &amp; implementation of SOPs, check list &amp; safety procedures - Develop schedule for routine inspections of all machinery &amp; equipment at the power plant - Planning &amp; preparing annual budgetary requirements of spares &amp; engineering items. - Work in coordination with the Procurement Head to ensure availability of all spares &amp; engineering items - Ensure master list of all spares and engineering items is duly updated with complete inventory details to avoid break downs or delays in repairs - Inspect incoming spare parts / equipments for ensuring quality as per Technical Guidelines. MIS - Preparing Failure Analysis Reports - Preparing Preventive, Predictive and Breakdown Charts. - Maintaining Equipment wise history cards to assess performance. - Preparing Cost Reports on Spare Parts, Labour and Machines for Resources Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling and Executing Preventive/Predictive Maintenance Activities. Key Competencies: - Ability to strategize, develop &amp; implement plans - Effective communicator with excellent manpower management skills, strong analytical, problem solving &amp; organizational abilities. - Good written and verbal communications skills - Must be able to make optimum utilization of available resources at minimum cost.
