Head - User Interface & User Experience - Travel Portal

Our client, a leading travel portal from India. We- re looking for a visionary Head of User Experience and Design to lead our client's design team and drive the evolution of our web and mobile apps.

The right person is passionate about what we- re doing, thinks about the product at a holistic/conceptual level, and savors the hands-on work that offers design solutions to user needs.

S/he also loves being a leader who builds a forward-thinking culture, actively mentors and partners with teammates, is forward thinking about interface design, and is well ahead of the current design trends and can inspire result.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the user experience of our product from start to finish including user flows and specifications, wireframes, prototypes and final designs

- Share new concepts and directions with the team, building a culture of collaboration and feedback

- Regularly review user data and conduct user research and translate it into effective design solutions

- Manage and mentor the design team to produce top quality work, adding new team members when needed

- Maintain design standards and visual excellence across all Imprint products, in both digital and printed goods

- Work closely with the engineering team at all stages of product development

Requirements :

- 10+ years professional UX/interaction design experience

- Proven UX experience with early stage, complex web/mobile products

- Able to implement best practices in responsive web and native app design for iOS and Android

- Experience effectively translating quantitative user data and qualitative user insights into design solutions

- Previously managed a team and have the ability to coach, motivate and inspire

- A self-starter who's thrived in fast-paced, flexible, collaborative environments

- Understands front-end web development

- Has a portfolio of work which demonstrates relevant skills and experience

- Relevant degree, diploma, or certificate (User Experience, Product Design, Visual Arts and Design, Interactive/Multimedia design, Industrial Design, or Visual Communication)

Location : Gurgaon

Salary Range : 40L to 60L p.a.
