Looking for the Head of Treasury for one of the financial company in south India location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Head Treasury, is a senior leadership position within the Banking, Financial Services (BFSI) sector. This role is crucial for managing the financial institution's financial resources, liquidity, and risk. The Head Treasury plays a strategic role in ensuring the organization's financial stability and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

- Develop and implement comprehensive treasury strategies to optimize cash flow, manage liquidity, and maximize returns on investments.

- Oversee funding activities, including raising capital through various instruments (deposits, bonds, etc.).

- Develop and execute investment strategies to generate income and support business objectives.

Risk Management:

- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with market fluctuations, interest rates etc.

- Implement robust risk management frameworks and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance for treasury operations.

- Develop and maintain risk limits and monitor adherence to ensure financial stability.

Leadership and Management:

- Lead and manage the treasury team, fostering a culture of professionalism and high performance.

- Develop and mentor treasury personnel, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge to effectively manage financial resources.

- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Risk Management, Finance) to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
