Learning and Development / Training and Development

Job Role : Looking for a L&D Head who can develop and execute the learning strategies, design and deliver training programs, assesses development needs, and tracks learning effectiveness. You will collaborate with employees and managers to support career development and manage budgets and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute training programs for the entire company across several functions, including designing curriculum, materials, and assessments.

- Deliver training sessions on coffee production and service, including brewing methods, espresso preparation, and latte art, among others.

- Delivery of soft skills training to the company across levels.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, gather feedback, and continuously improve the quality of our coffee training programs.

- Develop and maintain training records and track employee progress, ensuring that all staff are trained to the highest standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, service, and marketing, to ensure that coffee training programs align with business objectives.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in coffee production and service, and incorporate new techniques and practices into training programs.

- Develop relationships with coffee industry professionals and participate in coffee competitions and events to further develop knowledge and skills.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to coffee production and service.

- Build frameworks for career development programs.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field, MBA or Masters is a plus.

- Should be fluent in English communication, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Technical knowledge of coffee beans, industry, and overall understanding of the coffee ecosystem.

- At least 3 years of experience in leadership or L&D roles.

- Passion for coffee education, with the ability to inspire and engage a diverse team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering the highest quality coffee experience to our customers.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to coffee production and service.
