Job Purpose : To train and educate the sales team using various methods, like coaching, seminars, interactive activities, Class Room, On the Job, Project, Deputation, E-Learning etc and thereby make sure that the team develops their sales skills and product knowledge and provides excellent customer service. Key Deliverables: - Teach presentation and persuasion techniques to the existing and new team members - Simulate sales scenarios and prepare training programs that cover knowledge gaps - Develop Behavioural Competency Matrix for Management staff. - Plan and implement the Training Calendar - Design and execute orientation programs and onboarding training sessions for new hires - Act as a consultant to salespeople for challenges they have on the job - Assign mentors and coaches to new sales team members - Observe how salespeople interact with clients to identify areas of improvement - Determine training needs both for individuals and teams - Organize role-playing activities to simulate difficult client cases (e.g. how to overcome objections) - Advise salespeople how to upsell products and services - Apply various sales training techniques - Maintain updated records of training curriculum and material - Review training effectiveness Qualifications and Experience - Graduate/PG with 14 - 20 years of work experience as frontline Sales Trainer or similar role in non-pharma sector - Ability to manage the full training cycle, including conducting in-person activities and using e-learning platforms - Excellent presentation skills - Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales quotas - Additional certification in training is a plus
