Responsible for preparation of quotations, tenders, estimation &amp; follow up of fabrication &amp; obtaining approvals, All together - manage the entire tendering process - Responsible for managing the entire Tendering team and process - Responsible for preparing Tender Documents including Specifications. - Understanding the Tendering Process and Understanding the Contract Condition. - Rate Analysis. - Preparing Contract Condition &amp; Coordination with vendors. - Involved In Finalization of Projects. - Prepares the Pre-Start Estimate following the award of works. - Approval of the Tender Submission schedule. Calculation of the following : - Infrastructure Cost, Staff Cost, Plant Installation Cost, Safety Cost, Water &amp; Power Cost, Quality Assurance &amp; Quality Control Cost, Small Tools &amp; Tackles. - Obtaining Rates from Vendors. - Reviews complete Tender Working and check the final allocated rates from the ERP records of concerned departments and approve. - Evaluates the Tender in consultation with Head Business Development &amp; categorizes based on the evaluation. - Keeping a record of Negotiations &amp; Amendments. Preparation of Post-Bid Negotiation Strategy. - Presents the status of bids every year to the Regional Head. - Final Approval of the tender summation sheet for conventional bids in consultation with designated Tender Team Member. Key Relationships Liasioning (Internal &amp; External) : With Internal parties : - Business Development Department. - Contract Department. - Purchase Department. - Commercial Department. - Execution. With External Parties : - External. - Consultants. - Architects. - PMC. - Client. - Vendors. - Sub-Contractors. Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Competencies: (Including Qualifications) required fulfilling role : - Should be B.E/B.Tech Civil OR B Arch with around 25 yrs. of Experience. - Sound knowledge in Contracts Management, Quantity Surveying, and Tender Evaluation, Pre-Contracts, Post Contracts and monitoring the same. - Excellent Communication skills and exp in managing in the complex work environment Desirable : - Ability to work in a collaborative manner with all concerned. - Demonstrates time management skills. - Good Presentation skills.
