Prodentify has been retained to hire a seasoned professional in the capacity of Head of Technology for leading R&amp;D, emerging technologies and innovation at a client co. of ours - a mid-sized IT Services firm, at its Delhi-NCR Offshore Development Centre. This co., initially founded in the US, is more than a decade old, operates at CMMi Level 5 and has a strong global top-line along with very healthy profitability that has been constantly improving YoY. - Application Services, IT Infra Engg., SMAC solutions, End User Computing and Product Engg. are the major businesses at the firm, employing close to 1400 full-time employees across 18 offices all over the world, with major focus on Americas. - With the co. aligning towards a 360 degree technology &amp; digital solutions model of going to market, helping various teams synergize with emerging technologies as a must-have, research &amp; development for enhancing capabilities and inculcating &amp; imbibing innovation in the work culture are three major areas on which the candidate shall be expected to deliver. - An ideal candidates would be one who graduated in engg. or computer science from reputable institutions like IITs/IISc/Jadavpur University/Pune University and then went on to pursue a career in technology - starting from a role in systems engg./development through a technical manager's role through an architect's role to a position where s/he is responsible for R&amp;D, technology practice development (with special reference to SMAC and emerging technologies of the millennium) and managing &amp; collaborating with colleagues across teams like architecture, delivery, sales, QA and the likes. - This is a highly strategic role and shall require great understanding of the technology services &amp; solutions business, specially from an IT service provider's standpoint. The candidate must have been playing a strategist for his employer/s and should have hands-on experience in aligning &amp; preparing his employer firm/s to transform and correctly align with market needs/trends. - R&amp;D, Practice/CoE Heads and Innovation &amp; Strategy position holders at their current employer cos. should make good sense as applicants.
