Experience & Qualifications

- Post graduate degree in technology | Masters or PhD in advanced technology field

- 12+ years of experience in an advanced technology field

Role Contour: Drive adoption of new age technologies in organization's technology ecosystem

Accountabilities:

- Keep abreast with latest technology developments in the industry and globally by participating in conferences, hackathons etc. to understand their applicability for NSDL; Identify advancements that are relevant to NSDL

- Drive internal capability building in niche technologies like AI, ML, Blockchain, Data Science. etc. to drive self-sufficiency and to reduce dependency on external vendors/ consultants

- Guide the team to conceptualize the potential technologies into viable solutions

- Work with development teams to do initial POC for identified new technologies in order to check feasibility

- Undertake impact analysis, such as projected cost and productivity improvements, cost of technology change and uptake, improvements in business operations etc. to prepare the business case

- Drive smooth transition, implementation and embedding of new technology in existing ecosystem; Hand-hold technology teams during initial implementation phase and provide troubleshooting support
