Head - Technology - FMCG

- Provide leadership for short- and long-range planning for all technology initiatives

- Work with peers and Technology Business Head to integrate technology development in the ongoing organisation strategy.

- Translate scientific innovations into the technology cluster with a focus on business viability.

- Direct the scale-up of technologies

- Responsible for project delivery up to pilot scale.

- Set standards and procedures to manage operations, people, resources and infrastructure.

- Manage multiple projects concurrently, track their progress against defined milestones and goals; take timely and effective decisions related to the same

- Plan in advance for material and instruments needed for research

- Direct the research for the technology team.

- Conduct weekly review with each project team for project updates.

- Keep abreast of technology developments in relevant areas.

- Deliver goods for the current year's targets according to milestones.

- Plan for following year's project allocation.

- Assist in building credentials for the organisation to create the brand - register IPs and attend seminars to discuss work.

- Provide strategic direction and guidance to team members in their daily experiments and troubleshooting
