Head - Technology Centre of Excellence - IT

Position: Head-Technology Centre of Excellence (Leading MNC IT Company)

Role:

- The objective of the Technology COE is to strategize, develop and implement multiple areas for providing Technical Governance, Design Assistance and Leading Enterprise Level Pursuits

- Solution Designing and demonstrating Technology Leadership during Presales and with the Business Units

- Solution Innovation and Offering Development

- Pre-sales enablement

- Delivery enablement

- People capability development

- Supporting Delivery Teams for delivering solutions that require Technical support

- New products/PoC creation and innovation

- Will lead a team of Technical Architects, Solution Architects etc.

Requirements:

- 18+ yrs of experience in IT

- Ability and experience in developing and designing High level design for an application / large module which involves system integration, data communication, environment setup etc.

- Able to provide technical solution for the functional requirement in a cost effective and efficient manner, can recommend alternate solutions if required

- Possesses strong understanding of various Design Patterns, application frameworks, 3rd Party Products and solutions available in the field that will improve the productivity and quality of the solution

- Ability to look at the design of an legacy solution and provide recommended migration roadmap, estimate solution, provide design and solution for migrated solution

- Ability to gainfully contribute to design discussions on application enhancements

- Planning and designing information systems, using techniques such as structured analysis, data modelling and information engineering.

- Understanding of concepts relating to designing techniques like Class diagrams, Sequence diagrams, ERDs etc.

- Participate in broader areas of application development, infrastructure, security, deployment, unit and integration testing

- Develop low level component design specifications independently

- Participate in setting up the system architecture of the application

- Possesses good knowledge of system design principles and techniques such as OO, RUP

- Design Scalable solutions that can meet performance benchmarks and Nonfunctional requirements

- Good knowledge and awareness of products, solution in the field to help improve productivity, design, quality of solution

- Ability to review complete solution and code and provide recommendations on design & code

- Awareness and knowledge of Products and Solutions in Banking and Financial Services IT domain
