Position Overview:

As the Head of Technology for Minimum Viable Product (MVP), you will play a crucial role in leading the technological aspects of our product development process. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of MVP versions of our products, ensuring they meet the core requirements and provide value to our users. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

- Develop and execute a technology strategy for MVP development aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

- Work closely with the product management team to define the scope, features, and priorities for MVP versions of products.

- Identify key technical challenges and opportunities and develop plans to address them effectively within MVP timelines and constraints.

Technical Leadership:

- Lead a team of engineers and developers responsible for building MVP versions of products.

- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure high-quality delivery of MVPs.

- Drive innovation and exploration of new technologies or approaches to streamline MVP development processes.

MVP Development and Delivery:

- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of MVPs, from concept to release.

- Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define MVP requirements and iterate on prototypes.

- Ensure that MVP versions are developed within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards.

- Monitor and evaluate MVP performance metrics and user feedback to inform future iterations and product development efforts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, marketing, and operations, to align on MVP goals and priorities.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on MVP development progress, challenges, and successes.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the technology team and across the organization.

Technical Excellence and Best Practices:

- Champion best practices in software development, quality assurance, and project management within the technology team.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines in MVP development.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments to inform decision-making and innovation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Proven experience (8+years) in a leadership role within technology or product development, preferably with a focus on MVPs or rapid prototyping.

- Strong technical expertise in software development, including proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and technologies relevant to web and mobile applications.

- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and driving successful delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
