Minimum 20 years- total work experiences 2. Minimum 12 years of work experience in design and engineering management. 3. Minimum 8 years of work experience in chemical and petrochemical industry 4. Work experience in chemical industry is must 5. Leadership experiences mandatory 6. International experiences will be an advantage. Objectives of the Position He/ She is responsible for managing the Discipline Engineering teams for providing Engineering services for work products executed by A-FTA Mumbai Hub Technical & Professional Knowledge Core Skills: 1. Proficient command of spoken and written English mandatory. 2. Skilled in engineering processes for the full project lifecycle. 3. Skilled in people management to select and develop the engineering disciplines 4. Skilled in project execution including construction management preferable. Job Related preferable skills: 1. Skilled in (chemical) plant engineering will be preferable 2. Skilled in project management preferable 3. Skilled in cost engineering is preferable 4. Skilled in mechanical/chemical design/optimization preferable 5. Experience in the construction of investment projects Job selected skills: 1. Skilled in other disciplines of engineering (besides own core) will be an advantage 2. Skilled in authority engineering will be an advantage 3. Knowledge about local rules, regulations, statutory & permitting requirements, contract laws will be an advantage Main Tasks 1. Responsible for quality and delivery of engineering services and technical expertise in the disciplines - Mechanical/Rotating Equipment, Piping, E&I, Automation technology, Civil & SQS / Material Engineering 2. Ensure proper resources in the discipline teams reporting to him/her and develop the resources through training and guidance. 3. Ensure the building up of the teams and their engineering tools and the development of their work processes, methods & standards on a continuous basis. 4. Support project study, conceptual engineering, FEED and detail engineering on capital projects with adequate staffing of engineering functions with resources from his/ her discipline teams. Co-ordinate, monitor and control the engineering activities on projects. 5. Coordination and tracking of the engineering work between all involved disciplines and all engineering partners, (sub-) contractors or local design institutes. 6. Drive the build-up of technical expertise in the discipline teams for site master planning, infrastructure & utility development, energy management. 7. Support the setting up & operation of expert networks & expert services platforms in the Technical Community of Asia Pacific and Globally for business critical expertise in Automation Technology, Rotating Equipment, SIS, advance process control, static equipment, etc. 8. Support production sites on maintenance, site optimization and system upgradation topics via the technical service hubs. 9. Ensure compliance with group directive, quality procedures, information protection guideline and compliance policy. 10. Leading a team of up to 50 persons within the organization.
