Our client is engaged in delivering large projects in infrastructure sectors such as Power Transmission &amp; Distribution, Railways, Civil, Urban Infrastructure, Solar, Smart Infrastructure, and Cables. JOB DESCRIPTION: Heads the International T&amp;D Tendering team and lead in estimation and tendering. Head Tendering Head Office - knowledge of Transmission Line tendering is a must Required Qualification: B.E. in Electrical/Mechanical KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Identification/Selection of EPC business opportunities for Transmission &amp; Distribution projects for bidding - Lead the tendering and estimation team - Customer networking &amp; collect information on Customer's requirements and future projects share responsibility in customer relationship building. - Study the market trends, competitor portfolio analysis, latest technologies, joint venture, political, and social developments of various geographic locations and formulate the strategy for the team - Funnelling down for selection of tenders based on alignment with the business - Play a Key role in developing strategy for Bid pricing and winning. - Co-ordinate with various stakeholders like design team, engineering, commercial, supply chain and legal - Analyze success and failures in tendering including deducing price differentiators between quoted &amp; finalised - Prepare / guide in preparation of Bid and to coordinate for the risk review (as applicable) and hold periodic review of the bid to ensure compliance with customer enquiry and timely submission of bid to the Customer - Co-ordinate transfer of all essential inputs / data / tender requirements to Construction Estimation Engineer for project costing. Direct the creation &amp; maintenance of cost database &amp; vendor database. - Supervise the work of estimation - Supervise the preparation of Brief Synopsis and arrange circulation to management to decide whether to bid or not - Ensure techno-commercial document is prepared as per the specifications and is submitted within specified time frame - Formulation of joint venture and formation of agreement with JV partners after finalizing scope of work
