Head - Taxation - Manufacturing - CA

Job Description:

- Tax function encompassing overall gamut direct and indirect taxation - VAT, Excise and Service Tax for the Company. Tax planning, cash repatriation strategies, minority squeeze out, Transfer Pricing for management service function for various entities, inbound and outbound tax planning, Ensuring Income tax return filing.

- Advising on cross border investment both outbound and inbound, corporate tax, withholding tax, permanent establishment tax issues, tax efficiency models, transfer pricing documentation, advising on appropriate business/revenue models, transfer pricing audits etc, advising on PE risk aversion, other corporate tax and FBT matters. Representation for Tax audits, TP audits both at the AO Level and CIT (A) levels.

- Appearing before income tax authority and other courts.

- Interaction with tax consultants for ITAT, HC matter & opinion.

- Ensuring compilation & submission of reply for assessment.

- Filling of Rectification application.

- Ensuring timely filing of Income Tax appeal before respective authority.

- Compiling paper book for Income tax appeals.

- Compiling Data for Reply of Notice U/S 133 of IT Act.

- PE risk assessment, international payments, tax treaties, agreement review from tax perspective, expat taxation,domestic taxation including Advance tax, FBT tax, TDS / WHT controls and returns, Exchange Control compliances, New Foreign Payments implementation, Annual Tax Audit, tax returns, deffered tax accounting, tax assessment.

- Should have exposure to managing M&A in Global environment and managed Global Taxation also.

Skills & Education:

- CA

- Should have worked on SAP/Oracle.

- Preferred experience in manufacturing industry

- IFRS standard
