Education Qualification: CA Year of experience: 5-10 years Job duties and responsibilities: - Expert knowledge of Direct Tax & TP and working knowledge of GST. - Controlling and managing the tax compliance, planning, and structuring related commercial functions for all Indian entities of Group - Leading a team comprising of qualified chartered accountants and handling a bouquet of corporate clients - Leading and coordinating tax planning and tax risk management assignments - Independent handling of finalization of income tax-returns - Handling of transfer pricing matters including study & assessments - Handling various advisory services, analysis of case laws - Handling tax assessments and litigation before appellate authorities - Handling Tax audit - Designing & implementing policies/processes for proper tax compliance - Ensuring control & achieve minimum ETR - Co-ordinating with Group Tax Team for Master File & CBCR reporting requirement - Co-ordinating on regular basis with various Tax consultants and Auditors - Handling TP transaction for Shared Business Services - Train regional teams on general tax compliance - Lead and co-ordinate the tax diligence for acquisitions and transactions - Lead and co-ordinate the tax structuring of acquisitions and transactions - Maintenance of Tax Masters in the Accounting System ensuring the correctness of Transactions involving Tax implications - Withholding tax advisory & Advance Tax calculation - interpretation & understanding of double tax avoidance agreements Require Skills - Team management and leadership skills - Driving for change - Embracing change, Change implementation and buy-in - Assignments involving significant technical research - Strong Project & Risk Management skills - Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing principles & DTAA - Experience in/exposure to M&A transactions and FEMA will be an added advantage - Good communication skills including legal/technical drafting - Good interpersonal skills - Eye for detail - Strong passion and interest for tax - Business savvy - Financial acumen
