Head - Taxation - BFS

Job Responsibilities: -

As part of the Corporate Taxation team, the position shall be responsible for:-

- Handling all direct & direct tax matters of India operations

Compliance :

- Handled all Direct tax compliances including tax filings and deposits GST compliances

- Accounting compliances, e.g. ax provisioning for IGAAP and support for USGAAP/ IFRS Strategy

- Structuring of transactions for new and existing businesses for tax optimization

- Continuous assessment of the current business

Litigation :

- Closely track and monitor all litigation matters in India

- Manage all matters handled by consultants - tax assessments/ audits, notices, submissions, hearings, briefings

- Attend tax hearings and oversee strategy

- Handling a team of 6-8 Managers / Assistant Managers

Skills Required :

- CA/MBA with 6-12 years of PQE

- High levels of initiative with the ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities

- Strong numerical ability coupled with sound reasoning and logical deduction skills

- Strong excel skills

- This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel.

- Multitask oriented, organized, set priorities and meet deadlines and take pride in one's work.

- Has supervisory responsibilities on special projects concerning Finance Operations
